David J. Fischer, D.D.S.

Dr. Fischer was born and raised in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.  He attended St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin with a major in Biology.  He attended Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2007 receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago from 2007 to 2011, receiving a specialty certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery.  He recently relocated to Springfield to join Springfield Associates in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Fischer is currently eligible for certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of numerous other oral surgery and dental societies.  He is presently on staff at St. John’s Hospital and Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Fischer is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with the SIU School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Fischer practices in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis in facial trauma, reconstruction, pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery and office anesthesia.
